Air Fried Cherry Turnovers

These tasty turnovers are made with store-bought puff pastry and cherry pie filling.  They are "baked" in the air fryer for a quick and easy dessert ready in less than 30 minutes.

Flaky pastry surrounding a sweet cherry filling and drizzled with icing. These air fried cherry turnovers are a delicious treat that are quick and easy to make. Serve them as an afternoon treat or quick breakfast with a cup of coffee or tea. 

Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 8 rectangles. Add the cherry filling, fold the pastry over, and crimp to seal. 

Brush the top of the pastry with an egg wash, then place in a single layer in the air fryer basket. 

Set the air fryer to 320°F and bake for 17 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown. 

Drizzle the baked turnovers with icing before serving.
