Ingredients

Mix the Butter

Place the softened butter, chopped chives, minced garlic, and salt in a small bowl. Mix well with a fork until the ingredients are well combined.

Shape the butter

Spread the butter on a piece of plastic wrap and roll it up to form a log shape.  Refrigerate the butter until solid, then unwrap and cut into slices. You can scoop the butter into a jar or container if you don't need slices.

This butter is delicious on grilled steak, but it is also fantastic when used to make garlic bread or on top of a baked potato or grilled veggies. You can also simply serve it on the dinner table to spread on some crusty bread.
