All-purpose flour Sugar Baking powder Salt Butter Milk Lemon juice & zest Cranberries Powdered sugar
Loaded with fresh tart cranberries, and finished with a lemon drizzle, these flaky delicious scones are perfect for breakfast or snacks. They come together quickly, are easy to prepare, and bake in just twenty minutes.
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl, then cut in the butter usin a pastry blender or food processor. Add the milk and lemon juice.
Mix the wet and dry ingredients until you have a shaggy dough, then fold in the cranberries.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface, press into a circle and cut into eight wedges.
Move the scones to a prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with egg wash or cream.
Bake for twenty mintues, or until golden brown, then mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice and drizzle over the scones.
