These Creamy, decadent truffles are made with only four ingredients! A soft, creamy center surrounded by a shell of crisp chocolate.  They can be flavoured any way you like!

Makes 36 decadent chocolate truffles that you can flavour any way you like. These make excellent homemade gifts for Christmas.

Cream Cheese Chocolate Chips Powdered Sugar Chocolate Melting Wafers

Ingredients

Blend the cream cheese

Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to cream the powdered sugar with the cream cheese until smooth. Add any flavouring you like, such as peppermint oil or orange extract.

Add the chocolate

Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or in a double boiler. Add the melted chocolate to the cream cheese mixture and blend until smooth.

MAke the Truffles

Form the cream cheese filling into small balls. Melt the chocolate wafers in a bowl in the microwave or in a double boiler. Dip each truffle into the chocolate to coat.

Decorate

While the chocolate shell is still tacky, decorate with candy sprinkles, crushed nuts, crushed candy cane or other toppings, if desired.
