Hot Chocolate Bombs

How to Make

 Delicious spheres of chocolate filled with hot cocoa mix and marshmallows.  Just add milk for the creamiest, richest hot cocoa you've ever had.

Ingredients

Melt the chocolate

Place the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl or double boiler. Heat until the chocolate is melted and smooth.

Make the chocolate shells

Spoon some chocolate into each cavity of the silicone mould and use a pastry brush to spread the chocolate.  Make sure to get all the way to the edge.

Fill the Cocoa Bombs

Let the chocolate set then add a scoop of hot chocolate mix and some mini marshmallows to six of the chocolate shells.

Remove from the mould and heat the edge

Remove the empty halves from their mould and working one at a time heat the edge on a warm plate. 

Seal the Hot Chocolate Bombs

Place the empty shell on the filled shell and press gently for 2 or 3 seconds to fuse the halves together.

Make the Hot Chocolate

Place one cocoa bomb into a mug, add 12-16 ounces of hot milk and stir.  Top with marshmallows and sprinkles or chocolate sauce if desired.
