Baking powder, baking soda, salt
Butter & Milk
Lemon juice & Lemon zest
Mix the dry ingredients and butter in a food processor. Dump into a bowl, add the milk and mix well. Stir in the cranberries.
Dump the dough onto a floured counter. Flatten into a circle and cut into 8 wedges.
Place the scones on a baking sheet and brush with egg. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes until puffed and golden.
Let the scones cool for about 10 minutes then mix the milk and powdered sugar and drizzle over the scones before serving.
