Cashew Turtles

Cashew turtles are a fun twist on the classic pecan turtles.  Crunchy cashews are enrobed in creamy caramel and sweet milk chocolate. This is a quick and easy recipe with just 4 ingredients that anyone can make.


Cashews Soft caramels Heavy cream Chocolate wafers or chocolate chips Decorations such as sprinkles or sea salt

Turtles are a classic holiday treat. Made with crunchy nuts, creamy caramel, and milk or dark chocolate. These turtles are made with cashews, but you can make them with any nut you choose.

Make one tablespoon piles of nuts on a silicone lined tray leaving about an inch between each pile. 

Melt the caramels with the heavy cream until smooth.

Spoon the caramel over the piles of nuts, then chill the tray while you melt the chocolate.

Heat the chocolate in the microwave or a double boiler until melted and smooth.

Spoon the melted chocolate over the nut clusters, or dip them in the chocolate if you'd like them fully enrobed.

Before the chocolate is fully set, decorate with sea salt flakes, candy sprinkles, or a drizzle of chocolate, if desired.
