Ingredients

Chocolate chips or chunks Hot Cocoa Powder Mini Marshmallows Candy Sprinkles

Hot chocolate bombs are a fun, indulgent way to enjoy this creamy beverage. The hollow chocolate spheres, filled with cocoa powder and marshmallows, make a decadent dreamy drink. Just add hot milk and stir. Don't forget the marshmallows!

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave bowl until smooth.

Brush chocolate on the inside of half-dome shaped silicone molds.  Freeze for a couple minutes to set the chocolate and repeat.

Gently stretch the silicone molds to loosen the chocolate shells.  Then fill half of them with cocoa powder and marshmallows.

Carefully remove the empty shells from the mold. Working one at a time place the edge of the shell on a warm plate just enough to slightly melt it.

Press the edge of the empty shell to a filled shell and repeat until all are sealed.

Carefully pop the sealed hot chocolate bombs out of the mold then decorate with a chocolate swirl and candy sprinkles.

To make your hot chocolate, place a chocolate bomb in a large mug and add hot milk.  Stir until melted and smooth. Top with marshmallows or whipped cream!
