These air-fried parmesan garlic chicken skewers are full of flavor. Made with simple ingredients and ready in less than 30 minutes, they are a perfect weeknight meal.
Cut the chicken into cubes between 1/2 and 1 inch in size. Don't worry if they are not all exactly the same size.
Place the cubed chicken in a small bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and add the garlic powder, onion powder, and 1/2 tsp kosher salt. Toss until chicken is well coated.
Thread the chicken onto four skewers. The cubes should be just touching.
Place the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F for 12-15 minutes, turning halfway through, until chicken is cooked through and lightly golden brown. While the chicken is cooking, make the sauce.
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the air fryer basket, move it to a plate, and brush it with the parmesan garlic sauce. Serve with the remaining sauce on the side.
Parmesan Garlic Sauce
Place the butter, garlic, 1/4 tsp of kosher salt, and dried parsley in a small saucepan.
Heat over medium heat until the butter is melted and the garlic is fragrant.
Remove from the heat and stir in the parmesan cheese.
Set aside until the chicken is cooked.
Notes
The size of the skewer you can use will depend on the size of your air fryer. In my Cosori 5.8 qt, I can fit skewers between 7 and 8 inches in length. You will probably not need all the sauce, but the extra is delicious drizzled on potatoes or as a dip for bread. You can divide the measurements in half if you don't want a whole batch.
