The lime martini is a tart, refreshing cocktail made with just a few ingredients. It is ideal for those who prefer their drinks to have more sour notes.

- 3 oz vodka
- 1 oz triple sec
- 2 oz lime juice
- 2 oz simple syrup
- granulated sugar optional to rim glass
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
Add the vodka, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup.
Shake until frosty and cold, then pour into 2 martini glasses.
Garnish with lime wedges.If you want a sugar rim, run a lime wedge around the edge of the glass then dip in a shallow bowl of sugar before pouring the martini.
For more lime flavor, use lime simple syrup instead of regalar.
You can also use citrus vodka instead of unflavored.
