Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped, fresh chives
  • 1 clove garlic pressed
  • 1 tsp lemon juice fresh

Instructions

  • Using a sharp knife, or a pair of kitchen scissors, finely chop the chives.
  • Place all of the ingredients in a small bowl and stir to combine.
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. This dip can be enjoyed immediately, but will develop better flavour if allowed to rest for at least one hour.

Notes

Full-fat sour cream and mayonnaise are best, but you can use fat-free or light.
This dip will keep for about five days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
