These delicious air fryer chicken burgers are a quick and easy meal, made with simple ingredients and ready in about 30 minutes. Made with chicken breasts coated in cornflake crumbs and seasoning, they are extra crispy, have amazing flavor, and are better than takeout.
Begin by cutting each chicken breast in half, then place the chicken breast halves between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound flat with a meat mallet or rolling pin. You want them to be about 1/2 inch thick.
Whisk the eggs, hot sauce, and cream in a shallow bowl until well blended
Place the flour on a plate, and on a separate plate, mix the cornflake crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and pepper.
Dip the flattened chicken into the flour, coating both sides, the egg, and the cornflake crumbs.
Place the chicken breast patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket and give them a light spray with olive oil.
Set the air fryer to 350°F and cook for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. If using a meat thermometer, the chicken is done when the temperature is 165°F at the thickest part.
