Ingredients
4
(7 inch)
pita breads
pocket style
2
tbsp
olive oil
2
tbsp
your favorite seasoning blend
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Lightly brush or spray oil over one side of each pita, then sprinkle with the seasoning. Flip the pita over and repeat on the other side.
Cut each pita into eight wedges using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
Place the pita wedges in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the pita chips feel crisp.
Remove from the oven and move the chips to a cooling rack. They will continue to crisp as they cool.
Move the cooled pita chips to an airtight container or ziplock bag. They should keep for about a week.
Notes
You can use any of your favorite seasoning blends. Herb & garlic, Cajun, Italian, and ranch seasoning all work well.
