Ingredients

  • 4 (7 inch) pita breads pocket style
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp your favorite seasoning blend

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Lightly brush or spray oil over one side of each pita, then sprinkle with the seasoning. Flip the pita over and repeat on the other side.
  • Cut each pita into eight wedges using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  • Place the pita wedges in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the pita chips feel crisp.
  • Remove from the oven and move the chips to a cooling rack. They will continue to crisp as they cool.
  • Move the cooled pita chips to an airtight container or ziplock bag. They should keep for about a week.

Notes

You can use any of your favorite seasoning blends.  Herb & garlic, Cajun, Italian, and ranch seasoning all work well.
