This homemade hot buttered rum mix is quick and easy to make. Warm spices combine with brown sugar, butter and maple syrup for a perfect winter beverage.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Salted Butter softened
  • 1 1/4 Cup Dark brown sugar packed
  • 3 Tbsp Real maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Fresh ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cloves

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, cream the butter until it is soft and fluffy.
  • Add the sugar, vanilla and maple syrup and beat for about 1 minute until smooth
  • Mix in the spices
  • Transfer mix to an airtight container
